Assembly process for Two-Wheels, Three/Four Wheels Vehicles at Assembly Shops of Piaggio
Scope of job
Ensure the complete introduction into production of New Vehicles, Power packs, or Restyling through the study of the Production Process Cycle of the layout, definition of equipment, tools, jigs and assembly and testing devices, observing the required quality, efficiency and safety standards by regulations.
Analysis
Analysis of inputs from Piaggio’s R&D regarding New Products or Restyling.
Develop of Layout of assembly areas along with production managers.
Developing
Develop of Technical Specification of equipment, devices and general tooling necessary, costs reductions, high standards of quality, safety and ergonomic, traceability of products, EOL Testing, supporting for logistic and warehousing.
Merging
Liaising with other Process engineering departments (Welding and Painting) in order to merge the production flow of with a tight cooperation with Quality department
Deploying
Study and Develop of new assembly line system Including AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle), slat conveyors, skid conveyors, whichever forecasted for the new products
